Entering Into The NICA Carving Championship

Running this February 20th to the 22nd, the National Ice Carving Association will be hosting its Ice Carving Championship event in Levis Common and Downtown Perrysburg, Ohio. With two days of competition on the 20th and 21st, and awards ceremony held on the 22nd, this event is dedicated for professional ice crafters to showcase their carving talents.

 

In order to qualify and register for this championship, you must be a registered member of the NICA and have to have scored a total of 70 points or higher, or a first, second or third place at any other NICA event. Participants can expect to be challenged in a Friday 1 block/3 hour and Saturday 2 blocks/4 hour event.

The winner will receive a prize package including $15,000 in cash, trophies and medals. This two day competition is an ice crafters dream and an ideal way to show off what they can do with a simple block of ice. The works of art created at the NICA Carving Championship are spectacular and worthy of all of the oohs and aahs.
